Han Akçadağ
(B. May 1982, Çağlayan village, Kahramanmaraş), Turkish Poet and Writer
The poet was born in May 1982 in Çağlayan Neighborhood of Onikişubat District of Kahramanmaraş. He is one of the Turkish poets who look at Turkish poetry with an East-West synthesis. He made his first attempts at poetry in free verse during his middle school years. He also gave examples of aruz and syllabic poetry genres throughout his education life.
LITERARY PERSONALITY
Adopting a pragmatist-humanist worldview, Han Akçadağ built his understanding of poetry on the tradition of bards prevalent in Anatolia, but also created a synthesis for himself from World Literature and Turkish Poetry.

In order for the poem to undertake its intended function and convey the message correctly, the poet must re-concretize, that is, place the abstracted concept in a visible context.
